Purifying One's Own Will

Thousands of things in the world all manifest their natural qualities with their own individual variations of conditions. This is also the case with humans since every person has his own conditions, abilties, personality, orientation and opportunties. Therefore, different results consequently develope. However, each person's outlook on life, whether happy and fortunate or painful and sad, is not determined by his own conditions and circumstances. Instead, his outlook is based on what kind of thoughts are in his mind... If our mind incorrectly holds negative concepts, then we will live in pain; if our mind correctly holds assertive concepts, then we will in turn live in joy.
