Never Give Up

Hello everyone,

first whoever blog this, pls if can put your name when finish. I dun know who blog leh! Everyone using sebastian chu, cannot tell who is who. will you please put your name when finished, if it is OK.

Next, term just started and i can sense that many of you are still lost, either finding it difficult to adjust to school life, or finding it boring and finding it difficult to accomodte one another. It's OK, it had always been like that especially after a long holiday. Just relax and you will soon get adapted once again.

Sad to says, I could sense that quite a few is thinking of giving up on the course, wither bacuse of friends or studies. My advise is. PLEASE DON'T. If not you will regret it in days to come. I also had problem adjusting to the new term. In actual fact, just to share a little, I had a severe scolding from my manager. It was something that was beyong my control and yet for that I was scodled severely. It had been a few days and I am still trying to accept it, though it was hard. So you see, not only you all have problem adjusting, even your "grandfather", that's me lah!! also had problem adjusting.

But I must says. Though downtrodden, but when i meet with some of you along the way, in the canteen, it cheers me up. WOW, you all bring me joy leh! But seriously, that's the truth. I am not one who does things to score point with the mangement, the principal etc, but my main concern is MY STUDENTS! I may not be doing alot for people to see, id\t does noy matter, as long as i know, i had given my best to my students, that's all that count.

Tha's the reason why i feel troubled when i heard that some of you were having trouble with one another, when i read of that one of you was about to give up studying, I AM VERY CONCERNED! Not that i am kapoh, but rather i know that you will end up regreting in days to come. I had been teaching for over 20 years and i can gaurantee that you will regret definitely.

So don't give up. Talk to one another or if need be, talk to me and lets see what can be done.

So drop me a lineif you really need help.

Bye and PRESS ON!!!

Sebastian

Cheer Up!!!!

yesterday, was on msn chat wth on of the student. Was terrible disturb sometime by the way she reacts to situation. What harsh words she used!

Told her to write her frustration on a blog (anywhere not necessary in this blog) so that in later days, when she reads it she will learn from the past situation, and will try not to be so harsh with her words. Hopefully she had done it, as I believe that upon reading what happen yesterday in days to come, she will learn to be more tolerant with others and avoids such hrash words, then it shows that she had grown wiser.

I really had much to understand youngster in this age. Seem to me that youth now like to use words that is beyond my imagination, shocking words that at times bring a chill to my soul, (even my daughter expressed in her blog, and I am very much troubled by it). I can only pray that all of our youth will not grow up with such a horrible attitude.

Young people out there reading this blog, especially to all my students!!!! Life is full of frustration, full of anxiety, full of uncertainty, but still it can be winderful, your life could be a rainbow to others, don;t dwell too much on the unhappiness, look to the brighter side of life and you will not live in frustration.

I remember a very comon story told to me often. There as a boy, who is always complaining of the shoes that he is wearing, either not branded enough, not expensive enough, not good enough, not comfortable enough etc. Never was he happy with any pair of shoes he had and it was until one day, in a shopping center, he saw a boy with no legs looking longingly at the many shoes displayed in a shoe shop. Here was a boy with no legs and so cannot even enjoy the feel of wearing a shoe, thereafter, he never omplaint again about his shoe.

So you see, problems you may have, but at times when you see others, you will then realise how lucky you may be. So cheer up!!!

TEN COMMITMENTS

You shall know that you have taken the path to God, and you shall know that you have God, for there will be these signs, these indications, these changes in you:

1.You shall love God with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul. And there shall be no other God set before Me. No longer will you worship human love, or sucess, money, or power, nor any symbol thereof. You will set aside these unworthy, but because you have outgrown them.

And, you shall know you have taken the path to God because:
2.You shall not use the name of God in vain. Nor will you call upon Me for frivolous things. You will understand the power of words, and of thoughts, and you would not think of invoking the name of God in an unGodly manner. You shall not use My name in vain because you cannot. For My name--the Great "I Am"--is never used in vain (that is, without result), nor can it ever be. And when you have found God, you shall know this.

3.You shall remember to keep a day to Me, and you shall call it holy. This, so that you do not long stay in your illusion, but cause yourself to remember who and what you are. And then shall you soon call everyday the Sabbath, and every moment holy.

4.You shall honor your your mother and father--and you will know you are the Son of God when you honor your Father/Mother God in all that you say or do or think. And even as you so honor the Mother/Father God, and your father and mother on Earth (for they have given you life), so, too, will you honor everyone.

5.You know you have found God when you observe that you will not murder (that is, willfully kill, without cause). For while you will understand that you cannot end another's lifein any event (all life is eternal), you will not choose to terminate any particular incarnation, nor change any life energy from one form to another, without the most sacred justification. Your new reverence for life will cause you to honor all life forms--including plants, trees and animals--and to impact them only when it is for the highest good.

And these other signs will send you also, that you may know you are on the path:
6.You will not defile the purity of love with dishonesty or deceit, for this adlterous. I promise you, when you have found God, you shall not commit this adluery.

7.You will not take a thing that is not your own, nor cheat, nor connive, nor harm another to have anything, for this would be to steal. I promise you, when you have found God, you shall not steal.

Nor shall you..
8.Say a thing that is not true, and thus bear fasle witness.

Nor shall you...
9.Covet your neighbor's spouse, for why would you want your neighbor's spouse when you know all others are your spouse?

10.Covet your neighbor's spouse goods, for why would you want yours, and all goods belong to the world?

You will know that you have found the path to God when see these signs. For I promise that no one who truly seeks God shall any longer do these things. It would be impossible to continue such behaviors.

These are your freedoms, not your restrictions. These are my commitments, not commandments. For does not order about what God has created--God merely tells God's childern: this is how you will know that you are coming home.

Moses asked in earnest---"How may I know? Give me sign." Moses asked the same question that you ask now. The same question all people everywhere have asked since time began. My answer is likewise eternal. But it has never been, and never will be, a commandment. For who shall i command? And who shall I punish should My commandments not be kept?

There is only Me.
